WNC Roofing, LLC. is seeking a motivated and organized Project Coordinator to assist in the management of Commercial Re-roof Projects in Western NC and Upstate SC.

Job Description

As a Project Coordinator, you will be required to have a complete understanding of the project and actively engage with the team to ensure all aspects of the project stay on track. The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the administrative requirements for all project operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Project Managers and Site Superintendents in project management as needed.
  • Coordinate the building of Project Manual Binders and set up online project management software.
  • Meet with Estimating, Project Manager, and Site Supervisor to review the Bill of Materials and methods.
  • Coordinate with Estimating to complete project submittal packages.
  • Complete warranty and permit applications.
  • Responsible for sourcing and procurement of the following: Material, equipment, suppliers, subcontractors, etc. throughout the duration of each project.
  • Manage project related paperwork to ensure all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored.
  • Compose Sub-Contract agreements as needed.
  • Work with Project Manager and Site Supervisors to compose and assist with project scheduling.
  • Schedule and coordinate delivery of materials for project start.
  • Coordinate with Site Supervisors to complete and maintain project reporting for review by Project Manager and CEO.
  • Schedule third party project inspections
  • Complete project Quality & Safety Checks
  • Report proactively back to Project Manager with any challenges and proposed solutions.
  • Compose and submit all project change Orders.
  • Complete necessary closeout paperwork, packages, and submissions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Construction or Business office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and quickly adjust to changes.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid state driver’s license (in good standing) is required.
  • Verifiable References.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business or Construction Management Degree preferred.
  • Commercial Roofing background.
  • Sage software experience.

Offer:

  • $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year, paid b-weekly via direct deposit.

By focusing solely on commercial and industrial re-roofs, repairs, and services, we have emerged as the premier commercial and industrial roofing contractor in our area. This is a field position with limited time in office:

JOB OBJECTIVES:

  • Thoroughly plan out project phases to minimize labor inefficiencies and wise use of materials.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in strict compliance of OSHA and manufacturer specifications.
  • Confirm that the correct materials are onsite before they are needed and stored properly.
  • Keep Project Manager informed of any jobsite challenges immediately for resolution
  • Train and provide direction to team members and subcontractors on proper application of roof system specifications.
  • Report proactively back to Project Manager with any challenges and proposed solutions.

Daily/Monthly Tasks

  • Create and update the Project Manual for each assigned project.
  • Supervise field personnel: WNC Roofing team members and subcontractors.
  • Report proactively back to Project Manager with any challenges and proposed solutions.
  • Complete and upload Daily Reports & Photos in Field Wire.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are stored appropriately.
  • Ensure nightly tie-ins are installed correctly.
  • Adhere to OSHA safety requirements and oversee team members and subcontractors for safe work practices.
  • Some travel will be required and possibly overnight stays for projects outside of our immediate service area.

Required Skills and Abilities:
● Minimum 2-years Construction site supervision experience
● Minimum 4-years Construction experience
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

We are seeking an experienced Lead Commercial Roofing Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Lead and supervise roofing team on job sites. Ensure project timelines are met, and work is completed according to specifications. Maintain a safe, smart, and professional environment.

Technical Expertise: Conduct inspections and assessments of commercial roofing systems.
Perform repairs, installations, and maintenance of various roofing materials and systems (e.g., TPO, PVC, EPDM, metal, built-up roofing). Troubleshoot roofing issues and provide solutions.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all work complies with industry standards and local building codes. Conduct quality control checks to guarantee the highest standards of workmanship.

Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including materials used, labor hours, and job progress. Complete and submit daily reports.

Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to less experienced roofing technicians. Promote a culture of safety and best practices.

Customer Relations: Interact with clients professionally, addressing their questions and concerns. Work closely with Service Manager to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of construction experience.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and mentoring.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Possess a strong work ethic.
  • Be presentable and professional with clients and colleagues.
  • Basic construction/carpentry tools.
  • Knowledge of safety techniques and procedures.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 10 trained (WNC Roofing can supply).
  • Experience with Single Ply, Liquid Applied, Metal, and Shingles is a plus.
