Sealing vertical walls and brick re-pointing are two of many important services we perform here at WNC Roofing.
Water is the single most damaging element to masonry in our environment and it can turn your beautiful, expensive asset into a liability. Not only does water damage masonry over time, but it can also affect its aesthetics due to staining.
That is where we come in. We can protect your facility before issues begin by sealing the vertical walls.
Water can enter through voids in the joints between masonry, especially brick. This is typically caused by weathering over time.
FULL-SERVICE INSPECTIONS
WNC Roofing is up to date with best practices and modern equipment and tools to help diagnose exterior enveloping issues.
Part of our inspection will include identifying the substrate and determining its density and how porous it is.
One test we perform on some exterior walls is the RILEM tube test. This test assesses water absorption properties of walls and other substrates with or without treatment. This test will determine if you need to seal (or reseal) the wall or not.
